Gray Men & Patriots

Being a Spokane area Firearms Lawyer who shoots with many folks from law enforcement and military backgrounds, I am acquainted with a few people in law enforcement. As the political and legal environment becomes more hostile to law enforcement officers, it has become apparent to me that cops and armed citizens need to look out for each other.

I told one law enforcement acquaintance that the John Birch Society is a good source of information with which to study the vast influence of the Council on Foreign Relations. CFR members occupy key roles in the corporate, academic and media-political complex. The CFR’s elite members constitute a virtual hiring hall for government, military, the most well endowed tax-exempt foundations and law enforcement at the federal and international levels.

Elite CFR journalists do not have to be told what to write. In a 1997 essay, media researcher Noam Chomsky explained this as follows:

“The point is that they wouldn’t be there unless they had already demonstrated that nobody has to tell them what to write because they are going to say the right thing anyway. They have been through the socialization system.”

Many CFR members also occupy influential leadership positions within various political clubs, professional organizations like the ABA and Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs). These CFR members and groups to which they belong network together and impact international and domestic policy issues.

I have sounded the alarm for many years. One reason the role of the CFR needs to be more well understood relates to the rapid growth of China as a financial and military powerhouse. CFR funded studies and decisions informed by CFR foreign policy experts in government and the international banking establishment have systematically escalated China’s economic power. One of the biggest economic benefits to China that has not been widely reported is how the International Monetary Fund (IMF) committed $650 billion in SDRs (Special Drawing Rights) to help the international community deal with monetary issues resulting from the Covid-related lockdowns. The Biden Administration seized the opportunity to use the SDRs to fund the big government initiatives that Democrats call infrastructure.

This “infrastructure” development does not primarily refer to bridges and highways. The cost of financing vaccination programs in developing nations, climate change initiatives and other projects favored by Democrats are now referred to as infrastructure.

The usual response to my warnings of impending danger from China and its CFR enablers is the accusation that CFR collusion with China is a conspiracy theory. While the difference between cooperation and collusion may seem important, the U.S. foreign policy establishment has been singing a Hallelujah China Chorus at least since 1972 when Nixon went to China.

I told my law enforcement acquaintance that this unprecedented $650 billion SDR allocation on the part of the IMF is another step in diminishing the value of the U.S. dollar. Any move that dilutes the value of the U.S. dollar, despite alleviating our huge U.S. trade imbalance with China, militates in a direction that is dangerous to our U.S. standard of living.

The U.S. dollar, presently the primary currency held in reserve by central banks pursuant to the terms of an IMF treaty, cannot sustain it’s present IMF status as the primary currency central banks are required to hold as bank reserves. The additional SDRs allow the U.S. Treasury to borrow additional money from the Federal Reserve and fund the U.S. budget without raising taxes. The above referenced SDRs were not loans and various IMF members contribute different levels of funding commensurate with each nation’s relative stake in the IMF. Nations can exchange SDRs in exchange for U.S. dollars. The U.S. Treasury will then borrow from the Fed and print new U.S. dollars, virtually out of thin air.

Many banking experts predict that some new currency, perhaps a digital currency tied to the Chinese Yuan or gold reserves, will replace the U.S. dollar as the preeminent currency for central bank purposes. When I commented to my law enforcement acquaintance that the John Birch Society has a great deal of information about the CFR, China and Globalist plans to reduce the purchasing power of the U.S. dollar, my friend assured me that most bankers are simply whores who launder money. The real bad guys are the politicians who the bankers serve.

I read the Washington Post, New York Times, Politico and Daily Beast on a regular basis. Much of the information provided about the SDRs is from the IMF’s website, however. For many months before and after the election last November, I received regular emails from the Washington Post with several links to articles the editors thought I should read. Very little has been published about the SDRs other than how the IMF has agreed to help developing nations cope with Covid & Climate Change.

The fact that I provide articles from the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and several other major media outlets explaining the SDR proposal does not redeem my opinions from my friend’s condemnation, however. By admitting to having acquired any information from the John Birch Society, I have admitted to being an abject dolt. Some might say something like, “When I was young—in the time of Reagan—the John Birch Society was considered Rightwing and too far out on the radical fringe. Those crazy Birchers looked for Communists behind every garbage can!”

All the reports indicate that the IMF is prepared to issue almost a trillion dollars in SDRs over the next two years. It is a matter of public record that Republicans in Congress have raised hell about it. A large distribution will go to Iran and other bad actors that violate human rights. U.S. sanctions will prevent Iran from directly exchanging SDRs for U.S. dollars. Other IMF members, like the European Union, will apparently be obligated by treaty to exchange dollars for SDRs.

Then my acquaintance assured me that he and his friends are not extremist. Most cops consider the term Patriots to be right-wing! Most of them prefer to be “gray men” and rarely carry a gun because they feel secure in their surroundings. Perhaps we can define a Gray Man as someone who blends into the fog of war and never says anything more controversial than “most bankers are whores.”

I have to admit, if there was ever a time to be a “Gray Man” this is it. It is guaranteed that many potential clients will see this article and decide not to retain me because I might be one of those crazy Birchers!

But why hasn’t law enforcement performed more investigation related to our cities being burned and subjected to so much violence last year? Why do Conservatives pose a threat of violence when most the violence is happening on the Left?

After the so-called “Insurrection” at the Capital on January 6th, perceptions about Patriots and conspiracy theories have changed the atmosphere in a way that makes discussions like the one outlined above very dangerous to anyone who supported Trump, especially on the White Evangelical Conservative side of the church aisle.

Law enforcement does not seem to perceive the evidence that China has made major inroads throughout every level of American society. Some cops must see it. But why aren’t they speaking out? One reason is because they can be investigated and disciplined just for expressing approval for Trump and his agenda. There are many examples of the harsh consequences that follow when cops come out as Patriots. But the most likely outcome is that an officer’s career will be permanently put on hold for publicly saying almost anything that is political. In fact, many major corporations have announced they will not hire Trump supporters!

Active and retired law enforcement officers have the tools required to expose what is happening. And yet most LEOs and public officials seem to be in a strange state of denial when it comes to the activities of the Left, certain elements of our own U.S. Government and China. I suggest that the reason for the apparent blindness on the part of many in law enforcement is because so much of what gets reported in the news is filtered through CFR gatekeepers. Many of my friends, family and acquaintances, in and out of law enforcement, will now roll their eyes at my abject credence regarding an obvious conspiracy theory. 

After September 11, 2001, we heard that the Clinton Justice Department created a “Chinese Wall” that prevented domestic intelligence assets in the FBI, CIA and other federal agencies from communicating with agents and departments in the international field. Thus, our government did not “connect the dots” because the 1975 Church Committee investigations (formally the United States Senate Select Committee to Study Governmental Operations with Respect to Intelligence Activities) culminated in laws and executive orders implemented in order to restrict the intelligence community from activities that included:

Operation MKUltra involving the drugging and torture of unwitting US citizens as part of human experimentation on mind control;

Cointelpro involving the surveillance and infiltration of American political and civil-rights organizations;

Family Jewels a CIA program to covertly assassinate foreign leaders;

Operation Mockingbird a systematic propaganda campaign with domestic and foreign journalists operating as CIA assets and dozens of US news organizations providing cover for CIA activity.

Operation Mockingbird seems very relevant here. Without identifying individuals by name, the Church Committee stated that it found fifty journalists who had official, but secret, relationships with the CIA. In a 1977 Rolling Stone article, “The CIA and the Media,” reporter Carl Bernstein revealed that around 400 press members were considered intelligence assets by the CIA. These journalists included New York Times publisher Arthur Hays Sulzberger, columnist & political analyst Stewart Alsop & Time magazine.

Bernstein interviewed leaders within the CIA and major news media outlets regarding how fake news stories were planted. This allegation was previously labeled a conspiracy theory. Bernstein’s allegations would have simply remained allegations of a conspiracy had the facts not been so thoroughly exposed by the Church Committee and journalists like Bernstein. The collusion between the CIA and certain news media outlets was aimed at the Antiwar Movement and the Left and gleaned a great deal of vituperation from Liberals at the time. The fact that articles published in the New York Times and several other leading news outlets appear in daily newspapers across the U.S. raises issues as to what degree the CFR magnifies its influence and who are the invisible gatekeepers. Many of those same media gatekeepers serve on numerous boards of directors in various Fortune 500 corporations and are listed in the CFR’s published membership list.

The Cold War is over and the War on Terror is winding down. The War on Domestic Terrorism continues even as the Left prepares to overthrow every traditional institution of American government.

After more than fifty years, Operation Mockingbird no longer exists. But for almost five years, the American public has been regaled with conspiracy theories involving Trump and the Russians. Such “news” stories, although thoroughly discredited, expose footprints that look a lot like Operation Mockingbird.

Trump talked a great deal about the threat of China making inroads into the mainstream of American life. The news media went into overdrive to lend credibility to conspiracy theories against Trump and members of his Administration. The Democrats and the media succeeded in impeaching Trump twice! After the November, 2020 election, stories appeared indicating that Trump would try to steal the election in January. One major news outlet published an article after the Biden inauguration bragging about a conspiracy (Time’s words- see the link above) in which the Democrats, major corporations (including social media & news outlets) and the Left conspired to suppress news about election fraud and frame Trump supporters in the worst possible light. It is hard to believe that such a well-documented mass effort could be successful without participation from intelligence assets at the highest levels of the U,S, government!

So-called Patriots walked right into the trap on January 6th. The U.S. Government has been deeply involved in a shadow war for many years, long before Trump. The intensity of the warfare has divided families and fractured almost every traditional American institution. The key to understanding these issues is to realize that cooperation between the  worlds of intelligence and news media has morphed into something much bigger than Operation Mockingbird.

Every one of us is consequently subject to deception that puts our nation at risk. The real power brokers laugh at distinctions like Patriot, Democrat, Left and Right. Arguing whether the politicians or the Banksters have the most power is an exercise in academic nonsense.

True Constitutional Conservatives need to speak up with a vocabulary that will bypass the semantic traps lurking in the media-academic lexicon. We need law enforcement officers dedicated to exposing the war against local control of police and some of the issues raised above!
